Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Local Marketing One ("Local Marketing One", "we", "us") is an independent local marketing agency. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and our Profile Manager tool.

What we collect

Contact form. When you request an audit, we collect your business name, website, your name, email address, phone number, number of locations, and anything you write in the message field.

Client engagements. When you hire us, we receive the business information you give us to do the work, such as hours, services, photos and contact details.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic information your browser sends, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Google user data. Only when a Google account owner signs in to our Profile Manager and grants access. See "Google user data" below.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
  • To manage the business profiles we have been authorized to manage.
  • To protect our site and services from spam, abuse and fraud, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Google user data

Our Profile Manager works with Google Business Profile only through Google's official APIs, and only after the account owner or manager signs in with Google and grants access. With that access we may read and update the Business Profiles you authorize, including:

  • Account and location lists, and who has access to each profile.
  • Business information such as name, categories, description, hours, phone, website, services and attributes.
  • Photos and other media, posts, and reviews, including replying to reviews.
  • Performance metrics such as calls, direction requests and searches.

We use this data to show you your profiles, find missing or inaccurate information, and make the changes you or your authorized team request.

Local Marketing One's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

  • We use Google user data only to provide or improve the features of the Profile Manager.
  • We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising, including retargeting or interest-based ads.
  • We do not use it, and do not allow our service providers to use it, to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
  • We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to you.
  • No person at Local Marketing One reads it except with your consent, to investigate security issues or abuse, to comply with the law, or where it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

We may use AI tools to help draft content such as profile descriptions or review replies. Drafts are reviewed before anything is published to a profile.

You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can also ask us to delete anything we stored.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run our site and services, including web hosting and storage (Cloudflare), Google's APIs, and AI model providers that help us draft content. They process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people from harm.

Retention

We keep contact-form submissions and client records for as long as we need them for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize them. Google sign-in credentials are kept only while access is needed and are deleted when access is revoked or the engagement ends.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit who can access stored data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@localmarketing.one. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for using them. We will respond within the time the law requires.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change is significant, we will say so on our home page.
